You kidding? The boat does 75mph unmodded. I think the motors are powerful enough.... the boat is over-powered by 150 HP.
The spring unwound itself from the clutch dog and sent the cross pin flying. Damage was actually minimal.....new housing, spring and pin.

but wait. If you can do 75mph on a 150 Hp on a 27 foot boat. there must be something i'm missing.
because i know a while back we had a 190 on a small little 19 foot run about and it only did 50 mph. and it had it a after market prop
your boat is 8 feet longer with lesser HP and no after market prop.
