Calling all computer nerds.
Hi. i just recently bought a new computer with windows 7 on it. the computer is a Dell studio 1558 laptop with a i7-720 processor, 6GB RAM, ATI 54701BG discrete graphicscard,95 Whr battery, 720p display. one of the problems i have noticed is that after a while of normal usage doing anything like word, IE, games, or Hulu, the cursor will become large, then after a little it will go back to it's normal size.
figuring this was a simple glitch i checked microsoft for updates, did all of the updates and nothing it still didnt fix it. so my friends and i spend 2 1/2hours downloading drivers, updating the bios and restarting the computer about 50 million times and we still couldnt figure it out.
i was just wondering if anyone else out there knows how to fix this problem or knows anything about it.

RE: Calling all computer nerds.
Your screens resolution setting is higher than the games or programs can handle most likely... never heard of it happening with IE though. Happens with flash and games sometimes. Re-install your graphics driver or switch to a generic and see of that fixes it. Maybe get into ATI's UI and screw around with the settings.
