DON'T Open theTrojan Horse Thread
Wow....as sson as I opened that Trojan Horse thread, my Virus Checker popped up and informed me it quarantined a Trojan Horse. I"m not kidding.
EDIT: And now it's doing it every time I open RCU or look at any of the threads.....think I"ll stay away a few days until this gets sorted out.

RE: DON'T Open theTrojan Horse Thread
I was browsing RCU without trouble until I opened Impala's thread. I didn't click on any link...don't even remember seeing a link to click on.
Oh well....no virus's are coming up now, but I'm not going back to that thread.....

RE: DON'T Open theTrojan Horse Thread
dont worry argess, there no trojan in my post. its probably a coincidence.
you got hit by the trojan at the same time you clicked my post.
you would have got hit anyways...
i did a scan/clean-up of my computer(avast restarted my computer and did a scan while in the bios)
now i dont get the alarm anymore...it found 3 infected files and fixed them.
i just think its weird that it only ring the alarm on RCU...

Yes, somthings odd.....RCU was fine an hour ago, but I cmae back now and the Trojan tried to get to my PC the moment RCU started to load in. I hope someone finds it soon. It's disconcerting, even if my Virus Checker is handling it OK.

Yes it is not in Impala's thread, I will vouch for that. It started up on me when i was in General Discussions, way before Id even SAW his thread.

Any of you guys running ad blockers? I still don't see an issue or warning - using Avast at home with FireFox, and FF at work with whatever the company uses (Norton I think). But in both cases, I always block ads using FF's add-in.
If this mysterious virus is sneaking in through ads, then this would help.
Plus....ads suck. In general. I <3 adblockers.
