I figured after I convert the video to wmp, publish it and then upload it to youtube it loses all of its quality. I can tell when I watch the uncut video in quicktime it looks sick.. I'm saving up for a good video editor.. They are very expensive.

You can download a Full 30 day trial of Adobe Premiere and start working with it. Its really complicated along with every other video software out there but its good to at least know it.

Its also really easy to modify it so the trial lasts forever.

I learned a lot about the camera last time I was out. The first couple videos I shot were extremely shaky. Due to the quick mount having to much play. A little ducktape did the trick. I have been watching a lot of gopro videos to steal ideas and it seems like the gopro on a stick is the best method of filming.
The video really looks 100x better in quicktime.. My edit does it no justice..

Im sure when you watch the raw footage on quicktime it looks unbelievably good due to the camera capturing in HD. But once you send it through windows movie maker its exporting it at a much lower resolution (quality) than the original. You can change the export settings for a higher resolution but there not that reliable.
What operating system are you using. If you can Download windows movie maker live there are custom export settings where you can actually have the resolution match the raw footage so it will export it correctly. You must use the custom settings though because there "High definition" one does not have the correct aspect ratio.
