doesn't the license plate and lights and crap block airflow like that? I like the shopping list down the side.

should be around 2600 or so, prob 2500 lightened, the old ones would weigh in at 2100lbs, but where alot more flexy.

Nothing that the right bars in the right places couldnt fix, tho. Front and rear strut bars and rear floor bars seem to help those little cars out a lot. Nice racer, btw. I lol'd at the duct tape repair jobs but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

I have a 4.5lbs braille carbon fiber/ Lithium Ion battery in there, all extras are out.

All braces, FSTB, Rear struct, diff support, rear/front braces, knuckles supports, RX8 hubs, Racing brake 13.1" 4-pot front, rear RX-8 brakes, two piece ventillated, open slotted front and rear rotors, anything and everything. I have a very longs list... down to point were not much to do.

I have to install aluminum pedals from ultimate pedals, a brake flasher... second seat when funds are handy and thats about it.

I am sure it is not a repair job.. but rather, to protect the paint while at the track..

The painter (blue) tape is used to protect the paint, body and lights from stones and other stuff from the car in front, it is also used in AutoX to protect the car from cones, which can damage the paint.

on the brake ducts tape is used to control temps, depending on the track and brake temps.

What's the retail on one o' those?

Seriously, though, that's a wicked little car. ThunderbirdJunkie digs it. He spies a camera on the roof in one shot; got some video to share with us?

looks good, I always wanted to do a monster miata with a all aluminum 331 ford stroker, there is a local shop that has 8 or 10 miatas out back at all times, from $1200 on up depending on how much of the original car you want, they build customer cars for some kind of mazda spec class.
