Default A positive experience

So, in this world of crap customer service and people having no clue what they're talking about when it comes to wares their place of employment peddles, ThunderbirdJunkie thought he'd share something positive.

Needed a capacitor, so, hoofed it on down to RadioShack. Wasn't really looking forward to it, because the two guys that normally work there are clueless when it comes to anything that isn't a smartphone. Oh well, when ya gotta go, ya gotta go, right?

Was greeted at the door by a nice young lady who asked how she might be of service. "Just need a capacitor" was ThunderbirdJunkie's reply.

"Any idea on microfarad rating? DC or reversing?"

Imagine ThunderbirdJunkie's shock.

She and her coworker were kinda cute, too. Might have to go to RadioShack more often[&:]

People at my radio shack are useless. Mostly kids still in high school and mommy and daddy forced them to get a job.

Your positive experience offsets my negative experience with Zotac...

I got an RMA for a faulty computer, I send it in... two weeks later I get a replacement refurb in extremely poor condition.

HAHAHAHA

BTW TBJ maybe you walked into a worm hole to a parallel dimension where radio shack employees actually know something. That IMO is the only viable explanation.

Last radio shack employee I dealt with asked me what I needed and when I said it he was like UHH WE WILL HAVE TO ORDER THAT. I told him move and grabbed the package that he stood in front of and was like why its right here, and you guys have like 10 on the shelf...

Hell usually when I do go there and am checking out I just say AND NO I DO NOT WANT A CELL PHONE right when they are going to open their mouth. Usually catches them by surprise

I actually have a Zotac gfx card in my PC at home (several years old). Very nice card, got a sweet rebate on it.
