World of Warcraft
Ok so for people who play what classes do you like playing as?
Personally I like playing warlock, and have multiples (on different realms), along with shamans, and hunters(also multiples).
Been raiding on my lock for the past few weeks, but since I'm not in the main raid groups(even though I'm the only raiding warlock) I've only just completed BoT last week.
Also been playing a hunter a lot recently (named sycovenom, basically everything in armory EXCEPT for the DK on frostwolf is mine, was royally pissed off when I went to name my goblin warrior on that realm...)

RE: World of Warcraft
yay! WoW, my other hobby.
I am on the Nagrand EU server, guildmaster of a guild of about 300 players (about 200 unique individuals, the others are characters owned by the same people, I have 3 myself) called True Hearts of Friends. I didn't name the guild, I inherited it. I'd change it to just 'True Hearts' if I could, but you can't rename a guild.
I started my wow career back in Wrath of the Lich King in a casual guild. I had only one character at the time, a paladin, which I always planned to use for 'tanking' (the tank is the guy up front taking all the damage and controlling the enemies to empower the damage dealers to kill them in safety. Tanking is arguably the most difficult role in a group, but unarguably the most responsibility. If the tank screws up, the healer dies, and when that happens, so does everyone else in short order).
I was getting pretty good and decided to join a casual raiding guild. I did this for while, but progress was slow, so I started taking leadership of a couple of raids, and organised the group well. Under my leadership they went from floundering on a middle boss to killing the end boss of the hardest tier (the Lich King) in a mattter of weeks. After that I was installed as raid leader and coordinator. During this time I had levelled a druid in moonkin spec (a ranged caster damage dealer), and was getting pretty good at that too. I was very flattered to have my druid invited to a premier guild on another server where I spent a few months hardcore raiding, clearing heroic ICC. I eventually decided hardcore progress wasn't for me, and brought the now geared and experienced druid into the guild where my paladin always was. Somwhere along the line my druid became a feral combat specialist and I dropped the moonkin spec, I don't like where blizzard is going with caster druids. I continued as raid leader for about a year, then at the height of our cataclysm success, about 2 months ago, the guildmaster and a few key players announced their retirement from the game, and the GM handed the guild to me. We're just recovering now from that, and we're back to our full raiding schedule.
We're 9/12 cata normal bosses down, and despite the fact that some of our players are more than capable of heroic modes, I'm happy with our progress. We're 40th ranked guild on the server at the moment. We run 2 10 man raid groups, mine and another led by a very good player. His group is trying to kill Nefarian and my group is trying to kill Cho'gal.
My druid plays bear tank and cat dps (damage dealing, or damage per second, as that is what your 'quality' is rated on). My pala is exclusively a tank.
Here's a link to their armory profiles...

If anyone has any questions, fire away. I do a lot of theorycrafting and have written widely accepted guides to playing both feral druid specs, as bear and as cat.

RE: World of Warcraft
I used to do druid on the horde realm I played on, but kinda just went meh on it. Not really due to druids in particular just cause the horde guild was falling apart at the time.
My buddy made the guild, tried making it a raiding guild but didn't really put any time into doing anything once it started to flop, and basically disappeared on the game(BTW he got me out of retirement for this, and got me to roll characters on a horde realm...).
Then he got me to roll a character on zangamarsh and join "Knights of Good" (and yes they are named after the web show, I also believe they are the official guild for it)
Before that I was the guild leader of Pizza Delivery on Dethecus with my gnome warrior (1st char I made) As the game got insanely repetitive in cata (we were all vanilla players) people I knew just quit playing, and I never recruited more (I knew everyone outside the game 1st in the guild). I got so bored I had most of the classes at 80 (cept DK, rogue, and paladin)

That game is an addiction. I had to stop when I had the chance.
School will do that to you.

I swear when vanilla was out I was PVPing up to 14 hours a day without realising the time flew by trying to get Grand Marshall (way before they added linked BG's which was better IMO)
Burning Crusade I cut back a fair bit cause I hated outland and arena, and how the arena gear screwed up normal Bg's, and world PVP.
Wrath I actually canceled for about a year and a half due to extreme boredom till as I said my buddy called up and was like LETS MAKE A RAID GUILD
I'll be honest I've contemplated canceling again seeing all I really do is raid when they have an opening, and screw around on my hunter that I'm leveling extremely slow.
I stopped PVPing cause honestly the BG's I find are crap filled with honor bots, and emo kids who scream we lost before the damn countdown is done & complain why everyone else sucks the whole match instead of killing anything. And I still find arena to be crap 1st game of arena me and my bud did we hit a grp in full frigging arena gear, and basically died in seconds(looked it up on armory)...

Now before when it came out till the 1st exp I used to log at least 10 hours straight doin PVP, now once maxed out its kinda like OK stand around and wave at people.
They also made it super easy now started leveling a palladin last wensday(made it wensday night) I was level 40 by friday not even trying, currently its level 64 before that would have took at least 4-5 weeks of insane hardcore playing(think like the south park episodes on it)

RE: World of Warcraft
I finally broke free. Announced my retirement to the guild a couple days ago. Handed it over to another guy, gave raid leadership to my deputy, and haven't logged in since.

Everyone I know claimed they broke free, but I always see them back.
proanti1 that was a tad uncalled for... alot of people could say the same about grown men who play with "toy cars", not like anyone on this forum does that

RE: World of Warcraft
lol, they begged me to come and tank Cho'gal tonight, I said ok, but seriously, I won't be active anymore. If there was any doubt in my mind, I wouldn't have given my guild away with 200k in the bank :O

Hey virgins, nerds, whatever others call it, its cool as long as you all dont take it to the level of LARP'ing lol Them games arent for me either but one of my best friends does EverQuest all the time, till I got his Revo working for him, of course. LARP'ing tho, thats taking it to another level, one that actually DOES scream "unintended celibacy" haha
