Default Steam holiday sale.

Like every year steam has some great deals this time of year and its a perfect time to stock up for a rainy day. Yesterdays deals, which are ending in about 3 hours, include Just cause 2 for 4.99$ and Portal 2 for 7.49$. New deals every 24 hours up to Jan 1st.

I usually hold up on buying games just because of how much you can get for so little. I also love the gifting option and have used it many times.

So far Just Cause 2 and Portal 2 are the winners for me, bought Lego Batman last year already. Metro 2033 was on sale yesterday if I was into shooters I would have been all over that.

ITs because its in Australia, many places like that are charged way more then in the us. Mw3 for a lot of uk people its 99 bucks, its region specific and steam is funny like that.

Ive only picked up Defense grid: the awaking since its made by the people who did sanctum and i loved sanctum so i thought i would support the developers.

Yeah I picked it up on the daily sale when it was 1/2 that. It might go on sale again towards the end, last year they had some repeat deals, although they haven't done that yet this year. Probably because they are filling everyday sales with the Indie game BS.
