I believe her name is spelled Whitney Houston. I am not a fan of her but it is sad to see her go, I remember seeing The Bodyguard at the cinema because it was my sisters turn to pick what movie we saw at the time. How many talented entertainers have ruined and lost their lives because of drugs? Weather it is prescription or otherwise abusing drugs is probably the most sure fire way to alienate those around you and destroy your life. Don't do drugs kids.

i find this really sad, she was the 80's and 90's staple one of the last people in the world with real talent to sing. im not a "fan" but she was very talented.

i wasnt a fan either but i respect her and i lover her voice and her songs , very powerfull voice , strange thing is i bought all her albums last year to put on my ipod and i was listening to her music on my way to work every day .

they say she took an anxiety pill and fell asleep in the bathtub and drowned , i cant even imagine how devestated her poor daughter is feeling , its very very sad now when i listen to her songs

whenever i hear a song from a person who died too soon i call them ghost songs, and they are very haunting to me.

most all the recent celeb deaths are caused by legal medication, usually depression pills and sleeping pills. illuminati crap makes me wonder...

recent as in the last 3 years or so, i forgot thier names, but i know a few (like the woman who played luanne in king of the hill) died of accidental drug mixing and a few others like that. usually anti-depression and cold medicine or cold medicine and pain killers ect.

Let me clarify.
Also, drug interactions aren't the fault of the drugs themselves but the user. As are mishaps caused by having a depressed CNS and then deciding to lay down in a bath. Or taking one too many... Let's place the blame where it belongs and leave this mystical stuff out of it.

Shame for anyone to die of a drowning though. RIP.

I have a hard time feeling compassion for anybody who dies from drug usage. Most drugs on the streets are bad, and the only person to blame in the end is the person taking them. Nobody FORCES you to get high, or take that first trip. It is always the users choice, and in the end, the consequences should be dealt with dutifully. You COULD drive 100 mPh everywhere you go, eventually ending in a burning pile of wreckage, but do you? No. Why? Because it is expensive and dangerous. OBVIOUSLY dangerous, as well. The same goes for alcohol, afterall, it is just a legal drug. Worst case, if you MUST have a poison of choice, keep in mind that you don't see any of us NORML advocates dropping dead on the news....
