Hurricane Wilma
i live in south Florida and we got hit by hurricane wilma on monday morning. I woke up on monday with no power and i just got it back at 5:00 today. So now I'm telling you about it. I'm pretty luck though because 95% of broward county( where ft. lauderdale is) still doesn't have power. No school this whole week. Hour long lines to go to home depot publix etc. Hours of waiting time for gas an water and ice distribution. Any questions you have just ask.

Why do you need ice? ( I seriously don't know)
That must REALLY suck...we had about 0.1" of rain today, and everyone thought we were going to all die in a flash flood. [X(]

My guess would be to keep food from spoiling when your fridge doesn't work (no power)
Plus, with the day off work, who wants to drink warm beer
