What I can't understand is why people brag about how many posts they have... it's nothing to be proud of. But, I can understand why you're happy, so congradulations.

Let's see, how many do I have?
It's not the amount of postings, it's what you say. Some people I think post just to boost their count.
I'd hate to see some of my earliest postings (actually I did just that last week) to see how dumb I was back then.

It doesnt matter how many posts you have, I mean the best and most experienced rc...er could have just joined and has 5 posts, and Sir Spam A Lot could have joined a long time ago and spammed his way up to 10,000 posts.

After a while, you see the same old questions in the boat forums. "How to retrieve a dead boat" and the one if I see again I'm gonna scream, "Why don't boats have air filters?"
For those are thinking of asking that one, here's the answer. There's not any dust on the water.
Yeah, I beat you to it![sm=lol.gif]
Doahh, I've been a member in here since they merged the 2 sites into this one and was a member of those.

I think I'm gonna run over there and ask how to retreive a dead boat, you got me curious
J/K
Seriosully though, I've been thinking about getting a boat, what do you recomend? Nitro or electric is fine by me, electric would be prefered since that's what most of my stuff is. I don't really know what kind I would want, something fast I guess

Come on down and see what's been posted. When I made the move from electric and nitro trucks to boats, I had a lot of things left that were easily moved into boats. Radios, no problem as we run on the same frequencies. I've built a few boats with some .12's in them, pretty quick too!
It comes down to a personal choice in the end as to what you want, just like your pick in what 4-wheeler that you run.
Everybody wants fast except for the scale ship people, they run at scale-like speeds. Battleships with roostertails don't get it.
Fast Electrics are cool with a lot of them using the brushless motors but they don't have the run time of the fuel burners. It's a give and take whatever route that you'd choose.
BTW, some of the other Mod's have been coming down to the "basement" lately that are getting into boats. That's OK with me. I still like to mess with cars once in a while and have bought a few planes in the past year to crash.
