Official G club!
The G club is a group of members that relizes the power of www.google.com and everything it stands for.
-A member is expected to show their beliefs by influencing other members to use it.
-If you would like to be part of the club post you member #(My next post as example).Then put you member number in your sig(ex. G club member #56)

Do i understand you correctly? You're trying to organize a club that goes around dropping into threads telling people to use search to answer their questions?

Well, yes.But not the way your thinking.I just hate seeing threads that say."Where can I buy a xxx-t" or like "whats the assosiated web site".
I belive helping people is key.I also belive people should know google is thier friend.

That0neGuy i completly understand you, and i prolly use google 3000 times a day, be at my home or be at work...and i have 3 different jobs..and i always use google...its the best thing that happened to...humm....welll....humanity.

Yahoo is good, dont get me wrong, i use SBC Yahoo DSL...so does all my friends and family...and i told them to use it....but as for search engine, i only recommend google.
I have google emai...which is called gmail, and i also have yahoo email.
Google or gohome.
Try any of these with yahoo

And so much mmore you can do with it...Go download and use Google earth, its so much fun.
SAYING yahoo is better then google is like saying honda civic is all around better car then S600CL benz just because u save $17 a month on gas
USE google people, if back then there was google maybe jesus would still be around. [&o]
O yeh i pay $30 a month for my SBC yahoo DSL and it only gives me 2000 MB of spcae and google gives me 2665 MB free space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are not merged anymore, google broke away from yahoo a couple years ago as far as I know. I prefer meta-search engines myself like dogpile.com

by the way did anybody buy google stock when it first came out i really wanted to but i was only 14, my dad said NO and i watched alot of techtv now G4

The same kind of things could be said for Microsoft, General Motors, Pacific Gas and Electric, or WalMart. Google is a business that provides a service and are tops in their field just as the others that I mentioned. I don't see anyone starting an official membership for any of those. What about all the services that Yahoo provides? At one time, Yahoo was the highest priced stock on the market, 10 times the value of Microsoft but I don't see an official Yahoo club. What is so special about Google that it warrants an official club and who gets to decide which club is official?

Google does seem to know what's up and where it's at. Look up my name, seriously, I've done it. What comes up first for me is all of my postings right here in R/C Universe. There may be other Ron Olson's but I've come up on page one after insane stuff like "Buy Ron Olson on eBay", "Shop for the best prices on Ron Olson".
