I use to use Kazaa, and before that used WinMX and the "original" Napster. The verison of Kazaa I use to use was some special platinum/gold/or whatever version that didn't have any spyware or the like.
I don't use any file sharing software anymore, I get my music off Napster or just buy the CD, and pretty much any software you would want to download can be found somewhere on the internet.

heh, yea i used the original napster as well, but that was ages ago, then when that shut down, i used morpheous, then that shut down, so i went to WinMX, then that shut down, and Now I'm using limewire, until it shuts down :P

eMule. Best one on the net, used to use KazaaLite, a ripped program that a hacker-savvy friend of mine created. It could access Kazaa's servers without the spyware.

I remember using morpheus for a while.
I wish they would just make it all legal again

music off limewire is virus free for me but I scan all the files I download with antivirus. Kazaa was full of viruses. I never got a single problem with imesh, its a pretty good one and kiwi alpha is great it just doesnt have a built in media player so you play everything through windows media player
morpheus was the first one i ever used it was ok.

For you who use limewire.Search in programs for limewire pro.You can actully get limewire pro on regular lime wire.I perfer torrents for safty reasons.Also its alot easyier to get full albums.

torrents and friends and my brother who has a huge itunes library
I don't really download stuff except the ocasional song since mosty of my friends listen to the same music as me we file share

All i read about everywhere else is "lime wire this" and "lime wire that". Absolutely hate that program. Nothing but second hand quality songs (most are 128K bps or worse) and programs.

itunes isnt illegal, i have itunes, i just dont buy songs off of it.... I look at it this way, Ipod= $300.00, holds 20,000 songs, songs cost .99 cents, 20,000 x .99 = $20,100.00 (including the ipod) for a completely full ipod, I can buy a new car for the cost of a music player full of songs, which would you rather do??
