Does it bother you when...
does it bother you when people call Nitrous "NOS"? its like calling can of soda "coke" all the time. NOS is a brand of an object, not an element.

There really is no brand affiliation in it though, it stands for nitrous oxide system. I realize there is an NOS brand but it is still an ok abbreviation if you ask me.

won't it be bad if nitrous express posted a banner calling their nitrous oxide system NOS? i realize that theres a *TM* sign on the top and some have a (C)

NOS is a brand name. Other companies make nitrous oxide systems also like Edelbrock. Ever since that lame Fast and the Furious flick came out a lot of people call it NOS. Yeah, I don't like it either. It was more product placement than anything in that movie.
I wouldn't called it Edelbrock either as they're more well known for carbs and intake manifolds.
