well i woke up this morning to a big present and wow it wasn't for me well i got a mamba 8000kv pack my mini t and shocks and a radio but on the list i wort down for my dad he for got to get the hitch hs55 servo so i couldn't drive it but i mounted a full size one lust to play then i try ed to program it and then it moved but at about 6 mph and 0acceleration so i retry ed to program it but i couldn't do it so i got fed up and put the old electronics in with my modify ed brushed motor and then i was driving and lost steering on it and went head into a wall and snapped my whole front end and the hobby shop doesn't open till Thursday and to top it off my grandma fell and broken hip Christmas morning so my parents went and me my sis and my aunt stayed here so thats what happened #1forgot the servo #2 mamba isn't working properly (think its my fault) #3 snapped the whole front end (not my fault ) #4my grandma fell and is in hospital so don't think your Christmas was bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, I do think mine was pretty bad. I spent the morning at the hospital with my 6 month old daughter who had a fever of 103. For Christmas dinner, my wife and I had cold hoagies from a vending machine. Today has, in a word, sucked. Materialistically and monetarily speaking, it was a great Christmas for my family. But I'd trade everything I got and all the cash in my wallet for my little girl feeling better. She'll be ok, she's just got the same stomache crud I had eariler in the week, but try explaning that to those beautiful blue/green eyes full of tears on Christmas. Luckily, today was just another day for her.. She doesn't know yet who that nice man in the fake beard and red suit that came by the ER and gave her a cute little beenie baby bear and a teddy bear was; nor that today should be a very merry day for her family considering it was baby's first Christmas. She just knows she's hurting and looks at me to fix her. Next year, I'm canceling Christmas..

eyekandy, your #4 deserves to be a LOT higher on your list.

I know this is cars but I am a car/airplane guy now... I got Real Flight G3(trying to learn how to fly), $120, and an Air Force Blanket... This christmas would have been alright if it wasnt for my stupid traxxas stinger motor!!!! Melted to crap in the inside or something....

Actually, I did get something now that I think about it, got money to rebuild my "ski-dont". 1819 miles on it and monster loss of compression. thats to be expected on a 26 year old snowmobile. At least they still use my engine in the GSX. 1980 Skidoo Citation SS is my sled. Strictly runnin on Amsoil for 2 cycle oil.

No RC stuff for me, didn't want any anyways (have too much as it is [:-] ). Well, I bought two gallons of fuel, epoxy, and some fiberglass cloth on Christmas eve, if you want to count that

I got: PSP, a bunch of stuff for it, new wallet, new watch, new shirt, new hat, another pocket knife, and some other small things.

The PSP wasn't new, I got it used off ebay, and for once something that was advertised as "like new" really was like new, heck most of the stuff was still in the plastic packages.

Nope, not what I'd want to hear first thing in the morning either.
I'm not going to get into religion because that's one thing that we're not supposed to talk about, even in the OT forum. I'm not one of the most religious people that you'd ever meet by a long shot but let people celebrate what they believe in.
I'll put this as carefully as I can. This time of the year has become too commercialized but at the same time I like recieving gifts as much as the next person.
