Default A little friendly advice. Please don't chase animals with your rc nitro or electric toys!!

I know most of you don't do this, but just for a few that do, DON"T!! Animals should not be scared for our joy or pleasure with our rc toys. They have feelings to, and i would never chase my animals or anyone elses. It also gives our hobby a bad reputation.

Thanks

What about when the animals chase our R/C trucks? LOL... my bro-in-law's dog LOVES to chase my Revo and nip at the tires... so, I chase him back... and nip at his heels.

My cats used to chase my electric rigs all over the place. Sometimes even clawing at the tires when they got close!

My cats aside, I also think unless the animals want to play around (if they are already going after the thing), we should leave them alone.

That is if you can catch the real culprits, cage (aka jail) them for a day or two then release them, don't hurt them and other innocent squirrels though.

I think it's alright if your animals like to chase after and be chased by your r/c, just take care not to hurt them in any way, because what appears to be a small and light impact can actually cause internal injuries, especially to small animals.

So lets say the neighbors dog is taking a dump on my lawn, should I chase it away with A. one of my cars or B. one of my pellet guns?

Just kidding, but as you can see, chasing an animal with a RC car is not always bad depending on the situation.

Well I have never gotten the chance to take on a animal. once my garage door opens they all run and hide. and if I got an electric inside I can bump my dog all day and he wont move.[:@]

ya its pretty tough to sneak up on critters with a nitro rc! lol
i used to do alot of downhill mountain biking, and when going down a trail at 40+ ya sometimes hit squirrels! ive ran over a couple myself...and rattlesnakes. once a buddy had one strike at him as he passed but it ended up hitting the rear wheel and getting yard saled all over the trail! he kept the rattle!

this subject reminds me of the time I was at my LHS and this kid about 15 brought his tmaxx in with a threaded portion mounted to the front bumper. I was like " hey what is that for ? " and he said it mounted an archery razor broadhead. So we gave him a hard time for about an hour, but he never took it off!

My German Shepard is one quick son of a gun. It's a challenge to maneuver around the field when he is in hot pursuit. When he runs it down and flips it over, I get it going again and he expects it to chase him then. He will do this for at least an hour non-stop. It's fun, but can be costly. Last time he was nipping at it and tore my antenna aerial, which sent my Ultima into a tree (full bore of course), costing me a new chassis plate. Oh well.[:@]

My dog loves to chase my Rising Storm all over the yard [>:]. He goes crazy as soon as he sees me pick it up. Although my cats run away as soon as they see me grab it. As for chasing them I agree that is just not right, going full speed and hitting them can really hurt them

These two squirrels were trying to get it on right in the road, and i nailed one of em with my buggy on accident cuz they ran right infront of me at the last possible second.. My dogs are too scared of my stuff to chase it. Once it comes near them they're gone.
