RE: hobby pics
hi guys i'm doing alittle better now but it still hurts , the bike is a xr650l that I have 2 sets of rims and tires for one for street and one for off road, the atv is a ds650 set up for ice but we don't have any it's been way to warm this winter,so that kinda makes it easy for me to be loafing around, the carvings are all done 100% with a chainsaw this helps pay for all my expensive hobbies(lol) let's keep this hobby pic post going it's kinda kool how most of us have the same hobbies,i'm working on a enforcer boat right now,but still love the air drives there a blast to slide sideways across the water.
catch ya later, and I will (lol)

ThunderbirdJunkie,
My comment wasn't directed at you. I made the comment because the member wrote "guns". I was in both the military and in law enforcement, but I never referred to much of anything as a "gun" unless it was actually a "machine gun" and most of the time when people say "guns" regarding rifles, assault weapons, etc. they weren't in the military. While were at it, we're you in the military and have you actually read the 2nd Amendment?

Sorry, I was assuming that you were going on some political tangent about how nobody other than military/law enforcement should have access to firearms...I should've known better:P
and yeah, I do realize that no military person refers to a rifle as a "gun", and no, I wasn't in the military. I've read the 2nd amendment, yes, and I do realize what it's for. For me, it's mostly a good excuse to get the ol' M1400 out and knock some clay pigeons out of the sky

Yeah. I am sure people on this forum have seen worse than guns sitting still. All with Grand Theft Auto, a great game imo, James Bond flicks and games and all that other stuff. Just relax, it isn't your job to enforce the law, Mr. Forum Cop.

RE: hobby pics
You can show bare arms in here and you did, look at the guys at the R/C track, they all have bare arms!
I'm not into firearms, it's just not my thing. I wouldn't want any around my house anyway, the wife might use one on me after a trip home from the LHS.
Note to self: Get rid of the receipts, there's always the frying pan and rolling pin.

RE: hobby pics
ok ok sorry! don't flame me now! sorry I just think that an R/C forum should be kept on R/C stuff and in the off topic forum I think only approiatrate stuff should be posted. I mean sure a lot of you guys are around guns but that doesn't mean the little kids should be. I've never understood why anyone would keep a gun if they looked at some of the facts (like gun deaths, % family member sucide increase...). I'd just like to keep off the topic of guns and violence as there are small kids here and its just not called for.

boy did I start wwIII or what!!!!!! lets get back to the first topic HOBBY PICS I to love firearms and was in the military and yes it can be a hobby just like all the other hobbies and yes it can be dangerous just like some of the other hobbies we enjoy but the bottom line is training and education thats what makes all of our high risk hobbies safe .
