We have been tryin to build up a strong 351W, and its just too expensive unless we bought a conversion for the tranny (chevy bellhousing for a ford). It'd be about 3 grand cheaper in the end, and still have 100+ hp over the 351.

Now, my buddy's 2nd gen camaro is pushing 498 to the rear wheels with his 350. Throws the belts at 7000 R's. You can put a "soda" can on the dashboard... hold your hand back about 2 feet, stomp the pedal, and catch it w/o spilling it. His intake valves are almost the size of his exhaust valves, they barely don't overlap. One hell of a sleeper car, the exterior is all primer. And being its a 3 speed auto, its still stomped everything that has pulled up to it.

no ofence but ford kinda sucks in the hp tq and .... well ever other department to. Now a Corvette with a Supercharged 7.0, some toyo tires and some moog chassi parts and some gear changes and that would easily do over 200 mph and alot faster than some cobra.After all who do you think invented the 427 ?

but it keeps up with most supercars, sure it doesnt have the name , but the older styles sure are popular for mens midlife crisis!
now all they need is ta fix that ugly back end !

ya, ever since 1973 they have sucked, and in the mid 90s they just kept getting better. I go to the drag strip and see 1970-80 vetts getting 19 in the 1/4 mile ! thats just tarible. I just hope that when the new camaros come out they don't screw those up.

Im not really curious about the powerplant, thats easy to upgrade, what I mean is look how ugly the newer versions are like the charger and the GTO, compared to the older versions.

and ugly, i hope it looks nothing like any chevy product inbetween 1975-1995, and specually not the camros. I want it to look like a 67 350 camaro rs , that would be perfect. And yes the gto is maid by holden wich is noew a gm componie. I never really like the gto in the fiirstplace. I would rather have chevy bring back the chevel , now that was a nice car.

lol , actauly i would like to see a update version of the cadillac eldorado , i know they stoped making them in 02 but cadillac has since changed there style , so i wounder how they will do the eldorado

Some of those cars that we thought would allways be old timers are now faster than most of hte other cars on the road! And look great at the same time! By the way i have a 68 soft top Cadillac with a 455 rocket, i'm trying to sell it.

sweet vids... www.streetfire.net notice how many supras in the vids are killing all the other cars....and did i mention you can get one for $10k on ebay? mkiv there buddy. cant wait to get my hands on one of these babies. and btw, kemo ive read the word "over-rated" from you like 20 times here..... have you been in an exotic that you call "over-rated"? i know the lambo aint the fastest thing out there, but give it props cuz that car is a symbol of someone being rich....if you owned one you wouldnt call it over-rated, you would brag about it wouldnt you???
