RE: avatars
If you mean Pabst Blue Ribbon beer by PBR, it might not be legal to use in this site. One of the Mod's had to remove his beer avatar.
SIGNATURES :: AVATARS :: USER TITLES
Avatars are available to present your favorite r/c item to the public in every post you make. No political, social, religious, or other similar off topic signatures or avatars will be allowed. You may not provide information in the signature or avatar that advertise commercial entities unless you are an RCU Banner Advertiser. Only RCU Banner Advertisers are allowed to use only their companies name, logo, insignia or other as an avatar. Links in the signature to business websites are permitted as long as they are not overtly commercial or promotional in nature. Any signature or avatar clearly offensive or pornographic in materials will be removed immediately at management's discretion.

Technically, PBR might be copyrighted or trademarked.
COPYRIGHTED OR TRADEMARKED MATERIAL:
It is illegal to post any content that is copyrighted or trademarked, unless you hold the copyright or trademark. Any material protected by copyright may not be posted in the message boards without the expressed permission of the author or owner of the copyright on that material. This includes reproducing the full text of news stories, articles, etc. It is acceptable to provide a link to copyrighted material, to post brief excerpts, or to paraphrase other works, though we do strongly encourage you to cite the original source whenever possible.

RE: avatars
That's something that I had to deal with a few months ago down in the Gas boat forum. Somebody had copied and pasted some pix from a dealers siteand the dealer had me remove them as they were copyrited material. It was his perogative to do this as I did check his site and after a lot of looking I found the fine print, literally. Too bad that he had that kind of an attitude as by doing that I feel that he lost some free advertising. As far as I'm concerned, he is not welcome on the site again but I have no control over that. After what I went through with him, I could care less if his company is even mentioned again here. When you e-mail me directly, you open up another can of worms! You'd might as well show up on my doorstep.
Whew, OK, I've vented.
If I'm correct but it's been a while, the Pro Bull Riders were originally sponsored by Pabst beer.
