vacuum forming
well here is my vacuum forming machine its a little crude but it dose the job i have a frame and a heater element that just broke , so now i am temperarly using a heat gun
i use a 3.5 hp shop vac to suck the air , i first attamped small stuff and it came out prefcly, then i did model cars and it worked to , but the heat gun dosent cut it i need a element, and now i am off to the lhs to buy me a mini t body and fill it up with resin and to copy one to see how it works
and also i am going to make bodys out of foam and gell coat them and then vacuum form them so it will fit my mini t and any other 1/18 or 1/16 size cars ( i will do bigger ones just not yet )
i have drawings for a golf cart that will fit on the mini t and mlst (cadillac kid idea ) and i also will be making so "real" looking truck bodies for the mlst and the mini t and rc 18 and any other mini (chevy, gmc,ford style trucks)
well here are the picturs it works good ok and i am using 12 gauge plastic on my car bodies cuz i got a whole ro of it for free from a plastic plant acrass the street from my house (PMC)
P.S. i used tape to cover the whole that i wasnt useing
and in one of the pics you will see my 10 foot sea flee(boat) im building
