Am i strange?
Everytime i take my car or truck apart to put a new part or fix something i somehow hurt myself. Like today for example i was takeing a e-clip off with a screw driver it went off the clip and cut my hand.I somehow dont have a fingerprints most of the time. Does this happen to everyone or am i just strange.

well , i hurt my slef some times , but not every time lol
i hurt my self on the funnyest things, like one time i got a brun from a tire of a car
and the more dumbest thing i have ever done was turn off the radio of my boat first. Then i held the prop to get some weeds, off
and it stated to glich and it was a freshly sharpend brass prop and all of a sudden there was blood on my face and every where, i had to go to the hospital to get my fingure stiched up

Actually, I burn my hand on the cooling head and header or my Revo ALL THE TIME!!! I just don't learn my lesson. Also about a week ago I pulled a backflip with my Revo, and landed perfectly, but the shock shaft broke off inside the shock end. Also the coupler fell off so I picked up the back end of the truck to plug the exhaust to shut it off and got exhaust fumes in my face(IT BURNS YOUR EYES, BADLY). Also burnt my finger on the exhaust.

The on/off switch on my Rustler is different than my nitro car. Well, my nitro car was broken for a while and I'd been driving the Rustler. When I fixed my nitro car, I drove it and after I was done, I went to shut it off and reached in on the wrong side and burned my hand on the exhaust pipe. I have carpet burns that are now scars on my elbows, I was running in school!

We really need a thread on Stupid R/C People Tricks.
Don't let the Moderator thing get in the way of me doing some real doozies as I've done more than my share in my time. I used to "fly" planes (I use that word loosely), raced electric and nitro trucks before getting into boats.
You didn't do too bad, I used to remove E-clips with an X-Acto knife!

My nitro buggy gets pretty low in the back form the bad shocks, and power coming out of my engine. The front rides high and the back rides low. Anyways, I was ripping up and down a parking lot and ran over a large rock going about 30 M.P.H. The front end got over it fine, but the back hit it hard enough to put a gouge in my chasis plate. The back end shot up in the air so much, my car was vertical. Just to give you an idea of how hard that hit was, it moved my engine so the gears weren't touching. I thought I killed my new engine. It was one of the hardest hits I've had!!![X(][X(]

i feel the same way only every time i open and close my cars i get 2-5 extra screws and misc stuff now i got a tapperware full of them and all my cars run fine

Lol i knew i wasnt strange(even if some of you say i am) and dont even remind me of solder gun[:@] ive gotten more peices of molten hot solder on my skin and it gets stuck to my hair then i have to pull it out[:'(] and it hurts like crazy, and why is anodized aluminum soooooooooooooooooooo sharp i have to huge cuts on the top of my hand because of the chasis of my truck. Hey a exacto knife sounds like a good way of taking e-clips off

My dumb moment wasn't really my fault, but it involved RC and an injury, so it's close enough. I was using those cheapo allen wrenches that came with my revo, and I gave thie screw one last little turn to get it really tight, the the allen wrench broke over my thumb. It kind of broke on an angle and it went in my thumb really deep. I was bleeding all over the garage. I must have hit a nerve because where it happened there is a nodule under the scar, and a little portion of my thumb near the nail is almost completely numb and tingly when you touch it. It's not really bad but it's been a long time since it happened so it's probably permanent. I should make Traxxas send me a few more RCs in exchange for me not filing a lawsuit against them.

i would !
When i put my jp-2 pipe on my revo i started it up on a stand with out the clutch bell on, and my 3 shoe clutch came apart and hit me in the forhead, i had to go get 2 stitches! And one time i ran into my frinds ancle and my alluminum bumper hit him so hard that they siad it actually brused his shin bone. My only other ingery was when i had a cut on my hand and i some how got nitro on it when i was messing with my shocks and the reflex action maid my hand scrape agenst the cooling head giving my a nasty cut. That was probubly the most painfull thing that has ever happened to me with the exeption of a ripped muscle and a broken rist+middle finger+ middle and ring finger knuckels. That all happened at once but both of those had nothing to do with rc so....
i gess hear are my top 3 most dangerious sports

No dont talk about allen renches i hate them ive been wanting to buy one of those screwdriver kits thats bring them in screwdriver style for so long but i never have. I have like dots all over my hand from times ive poked myself with them.

I cut my thumb with a really sharp exacto, it wouldn't stop bleeding. So I was just sitting at the sink for a little while, then I put some pressure on it and it finally stopped. I hate e-clips, I've hurt myself with those things too many times.

Iv never done that, I hate the trx 2.5r cooling heads, i cut my self so bad on one! It wasn't eaven a cut, it just ripped my skin, aboiut a 1/2 inch off the back of my hand! Ohh man it hurt almost as bad as broken rists and nuckles!
