That old Ford has been good to me, that's why I've had it since `96. When I bought it, I was looking at everything but a Ford. After driving some other junk, a salesman asked me to take the Ranger for a drive. You know the rest of the story. About all I've had to do to it is normal maintenance and it's in really good shape for its age.
I keep wanting to trade it in but evey time I get close, my other rides blow up or get totalled. I make good money but have other places where that goes, mostly hospital bills that keep adding up every year plus toy money.

That TR looks great. Brings back lots of fun memories of Tr3s and 4s when I was young. Even tried an couple MGBs. They were not too bad. But then I got an MGCGT, that thing was a DOG.

OK, lets just stop this one before it gets out of hand.

Thread cleaned of useless garbage. Back to the topic at hand.

YOu must be british... LOL, just kidding... I thought my post was kinda funny...

Anyways, i don't know about you guys, but the reason why i think most of use drive older cars is because that the only cars that apeal to us are the older ones or the new ones we can't afford. Just my thought on the isue, waht do you guys think?

I bought her back in 74 while I was in Atlanta. Even ran at road Atlanta a couple times. Had a 70 124 Fiat then too. I've got a 71 Fiat 124 under a car cover behind the house waiting for me to find a very rare taillight for it. They only made that type for 1 year.....Last time I found one (4 years ago, before the RC addiction) it was $650.

This is what I bring to the local track. It's better than a Hemi powered truck[>:]
It has air and hold 5 Racers with gear.

Hey Ron, I saw the "3" sticker on your truck shell. You an Earnhardt fan???

I use my hands and I walk. I don't race and there aren't any tracks close by anyways. I drive my monster of a buggy in a dirt field by my house. I don't mind walking. You never REALLY appreciate cars until you do distance running. We are SO spoiled!!!!

I do volunteer work. I'm a 100% disabled USMC Viet Nam Veteran. I had to retire 15 years ago when I was 42 because my nightmares and flashbacks of the war became too intense. They say I saw and did too much killing.....

Yup, I was a fan of old Ironhead, now there isn't too many people left to cheer for. Some I like, some I don't. I still wish that Mark Martin could retire with a championship. Now I'd rather cheer for the underdogs.

Hey, you've got a pic of this audi? A friend of mine has the wagon. I really like the sound of that biturbo.
