RE: THE LOUNGE 2
I beleive some 'members' of the lounge recommened this esc to me one day. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUY14&P=7. I want to run a 13t motor on it but I have a rule that you should never run a 13t motor on a 13t esc. But is this esc good enough to handle a motor right on its limit?
Thanks.
P.S. Nice F1 car lee!

I have one.. but it is only pulling a Tamiya Sport Tune.. so it is obviously not stressing it.. so I can't comment on how well it will handle a 13T motor...
Good quality product, though.. Futaba... I also have a MC230CR..

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Funny story....
My friend walked into the LHS yesterday to buy a gear. While he was at it, he remembered I ordered a part, so he asked the person if the part came in yet, I ordered it. He barely started to say my name when the lady pulled out the part and said Brendan Raymundo, right?
I also scored an older era pede' from the local classifides for 10 bucks. No Tx, though, but I was fine. I ran it for like 10 min and the XL-1 went capluy...this shows why I shouldn't go against my Tamiya religion...

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
its not technically a silver can lol... its the johnson stamped chrome finish tamiya motor on the nose of the motor it says johnson but the wiring is presoldered tamiya wire.. yellow/green with bullets.. the gearing there is 4.88-1 total direct drive solid rear axle with a 1.5 inch diameter tire thats why its so fast lol.. its a pan car with twin vertical plate chassis...

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
nice e-maxx. did that also take a dip in the pools looks a little too clean
I wanted to put an LB sticker on my one of my emaxx's but i just couldn't do that. LBs name is now synonymous with tamiya and putting it on a traxxas just didn't seem right
