What would be faster on 14.4v?

I have a silvercan and a few Johnson 550s, which were made for various voltages (9.6, 7.2, 18, etc.) The silvercan sounds like it's reaching a higher RPM at 10V than the 550 at 12V. BUT I think one 550 I have is a 9.6v motor, so it should be faster than the silvercan.

I'm wondering cause I'm hitting up Oregon on Sat. and the F350 is tagging along as usual. I've decided that a silvercan type motor would be best instead of the money I had in when I went to Montana, mostly for runtime but so it doesn't rust.

I hate swapping motors on the 350 since you have to take the whole slipper case off to remove the motor, but I might just end up drilling holes in it so I can change motors at least not w/o taking the front end off.

As well, I'm going to run 2.2s on it since I have no tires for the 1.9 aluminum rims lol.

So I accidentally won a DX6 on ebay just now I thought it was the full set up or at least a tx and rx, which would have been a very good deal, turns out it is just the TX and battery.
I emailed the seller and asked if he would like to re-list it to get more for it, (I really don't know if I want it, its the last thing I should be spending money on since I don't have anything to use it with yet)
If the seller does not decide to re-list it, any one thinking of getting one? Message me if interested. lol ( did not say I was selling one)

Paint, why run 14.4V on a F-350 anyway? It is not meant to go fast...

CAUSE I FELT LIKE IT!!! (jk)

Just to have it, I dunno. Cheaper, easier alternative to a rebuildable motor, no maintenance issues or cost for parts. I want some decent speed but also want to be able to run it slowly at some times (7.2 or 8.4)

Regardless of what I do you what you say, it's going to go fast!!!

kindof like asking me why I want to go out and get aluminum threaded shocks for my RC18MT, because I feel like it, granted, I got it on the first, anyone here know the oil weight that they run in the shocks???

I guess you are a little tight on money eh, I just can't decide wether to get the kit ($20.00 a pair http://www.rc10.com/enlarge/21217.htm ) or get the collars ($12.00 a pair http://www.rc10.com/enlarge/21214.htm ). want to get the kit since I can keep the stock ones for another project... ($40.00 to do the whole MT and that doesn't include different springs...) [&:], in a bind

No, I don't think he is tight on money, it's just hard justifying spending thosands on R/C (over a short time). Just look at his collection!

Um I dunno you'll have to google earth that.

The population of Wallace is like 250, or around that.

The largest town in Calaveras County is Valley Springs, pop 5,725 or something like that.

I guess everything is relative.. but I do think about it before I go into Tower's website.. I mean, thinking like, "how much have I spent this month on RC" kind of deal..

Certainly not at the stage of my life where I don't have to think twice about spending a few grands.. LOL! Maybe when I retire.. I'd just build RCs all the time.. ha ha ha!!

Just a heads up, but there is a Super Duty on Ebay for 50 dollars or 90 BIN and 7 for shipping. It has 2 says and 19 hours on it, I might not bid on it though cause I'm looking for the Novak 610-RV.

Nah... WW-2 likes instant torque for the wheelie.. I think an electric motor is a better fit..

But yeah, if you do it, it'd be awesome!! Definitely looking forward to that, ha!!

What's a Novak 610-RV?!

Yeah, well I'd be getting another WW2 kit if I did that anyway, so.....

It has a 12t limit and handles 6-10 cells.

I've gotten a hold of a Super Rooster, basically the same thing but no motor limit, but I still want a 610 just to have laying around, would be nice in the Clod as well.
