This looks fun!

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/916620...r_race_action/
That looked awsome. Wonder how they controlled it in the air cause it did not look like it had moving rudders? Just a wing in teh back
they prob have the motor do some of the lifting, while the rudder steers it, maybe they have cntrol surfaces inside???

you might as well spend £10 more and get the joy of the build as well..

That's an interesting E-REVO for sure!

But seriously, though... why would you run all those nice electronics / chassis / etc. w/ the Traxxas radio?! (hee, just giving Traxxas a hard time..)
isn't the traxxas radio actually made by someone else? sort of like my cheapie Tower radio being Futaba?

also, man i go away for a day and the lounge grows like 10 pages! lol

Kit #51.. right after the Wild One.. ha! (when things become less scale!) [:@]
Gotcha, at least it still has the driver figure!
here's a crazy question... are there any hobby grade RC cars that still come with driver figures? besides the re-res of course! i know some boats and planes have them, but i can't recall seeing a modern RC car with a driver figure.

i have never seen this one before

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58399

and IMO, this is butt ugly lol

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58403
hmm call me weird but i kind of like that second one... and the price isn't bad, considering the tamiya list prices seem to be roughly double what the car will actually sell for.

haha, i get what you're saying. i'm sure people would have said the same had i gone through with my original plan of putting a $250+ brushless system into the Brat. i mean i'm sure someone has done that, but it was probably a fun swap from a more modern RC instead of the only one they had.

hmmm you're right! but then again although it isn't a true re-re, it's sort of like the TT-Gear Frog, modeled after old school goodness! he is the most famous driver though, i know he was in the WW and also that willys wheeler, maybe something else.

didn't all the old drivers have names? just not as well known as willy... wonder what the Brat driver's name is? according to the sticker on the TT-Gear Frog, the driver is named "Glenn Morris" although sadly he does't appear inside the vehicle, just ESC tabs, some wires, and the flag on the RX crystal.

looks nice. very scale! almost like someone glued oversize body posts and clips onto the real thing.

come to think of it i might due that to my boring Camry. might make it a bit more exciting!
