Not bad, whats in it?
Heres mine.
-AMD Athlon 64x2 6000
-Asus M2N SLI Deluxe
-Western Digital Raptor X 150GB HDD

RE: Let's see everybody's computers
nice comp paint. i have that case except mines HEAVILY modified I used to do computers heavily doing middle and high school. most of my friends that wanted custom computers came to me for advice or some modifying. all built to the highest detail. cables tied and folded away from sight. monthly overhaul cleaning. oh and tweaking. *sigh* the good old days.. now i just have the hectic life of RCs. one pocket emptying hobby to a even more expensive one

RE: Let's see everybody's computers
watercooling is definitely safe. just leak test it before using. and if your really scared you can clamp everything down.
I used to have really loud computer, back when i was aircooling freak. But then i didn't use my computer as much and never left it on.
now i use it a lot for school( and RCU of course), so it stays on a lot and i need it absolutely quiet when i sleep so the super loud fans and stuff had to go.

Ya when my computer is getting a workout by multitasking or something the fan kicks up into high gear and it can get very annoying.[:'(]

RE: Let's see everybody's computers
its sooo much better. especially after using those performance air-cooled solutions. my computer was quiet before but still noisey enough to keep me awake, i sleep about 2-3 ft from my computer and changing to water was amazing. lower temperatures and quieter.

I might go watercooled, but having a near silent computer is wierd.
I love that etching..

RE: Let's see everybody's computers
Just buy the parts, really, easy process. Better yet, buy a book on it.
You'll need:
case
motherboard
memory
CPU
hard drive
misc drive (CD, floppy, etc, not necessary)
power supply
modem (depends on your internet and mobo)
graphics card (depends if built in on mobo, but usually mobo graphics suck)
sound card (unless built in on mobo, quality varies)
operating system
Newegg.com or Tiger Direct are some good sources.

Including or excluding operating system? W/o it would be better, with, depending on system, it would be just as good, but most likely better.
