I need help from somebody who know's ALOT about computer's(PC is a Dell laptop)my mom gave me her laptop cause she got a new one and the problem is the (was told they were solder joints)on the charging jack that hold it in place broke or something,cause you can hook it up and you can wiggle the charging jack around and it doesnt get a connection,sometimes you might if you wiggle it enough anyways,can anyone tell me how i can reattatch it,i got the whole computer apart.so any help would be really appreciated.

if you have an electric solder iron just heat the solder up and push the wire back in. show some pics so i can see what ur talking about

i cant tell much from the pics. can you get to the solder joint?

in the second one you will see 3 or 4 what looks like solder joints not 100% sure the guy told me said there were 3 so thats why im guessing that them but yea i get but they seem more metal then they do solder so im thinking bout bending them in a 90 degree angle so the charging jack will stay put and be snugg?

From my experience whats circled likes to break, either near the solder joint or inside the jack.

yea it was loose and i soldered it back,,is there a way i can hook the charger to it and find out if theres electricity going to it?

Sure, just hook up the charger and use a multimeter to see if there is any voltage at the solder joints.

ahh ok and if there is then it would be running the the whole board?

Well ii put it all back together and it still doesnt work so mabey i can find a motherboard somewhere or something.
