Anyone else watching this eclipse?

Go take a look at the moon. Its pretty spectacular right now: half lit up, half in the shadow. It really makes you appreciate the size of the thing with binoculars or a telescope.

IT was really bad where i live. I saw the very first part of it when the moon was just starting to to disappear. Then after that the clouds covered everything up! [:@]

Sort of sucked here since there was a lot of cloud cover. However, I did manage too snap a couple of quick shots. Still, I guess I need practice "mooning".

I saw a bit at the beginning, but then the clouds took over.
It's amazing to see the moon when it has some sort of condition that helps it to appear 3D. Just viewing it through even a small telescope can yield so much more definition than the naked eye. It just hangs there like some giant golf ball. Very cool!

so the pics with the cloud that look really hazy. Is that becuase they clouds wher moving and you took the picture with long exposure time? or is that just what they looked like?

The clouds where moving very fast so during the 25 second exposure they smeared like that.. although it add a very cool looking effect,
The one of the really red clouds while the moon was eclipsed was only for like 1 second or so, the clouds didn't have time to smear
