Maybe Syesha vs. Archuleta, but I think Syesha vs. Cook is more likely in the end. At this point, it really doesn't matter anymore.

Does anyone else want to see Ryan voted off??

like him or not
and i don't
you gotta give ryan credit
he turned a flakey co-host job
on a start-up talent show
into one mega career

i'd almost bet he outlasts simon

True, he has done a great job of building a career (and I secretly love the way he says 'THIS... is American Idol')

Simon is far more powerful in the industry, smugness included.

Edit: I can't believe I posted a typo.

Yeah, I think it was Simon and another co-creator on the American version. He has certainly capitalized on the television market for this vein of entertainment. I believe the UK version is called 'Pop Idol'.

the way the voting is going
it will probably end up with
archuletta against syesha

which i think would/will
be a farce
i think i'll stand by that predicrion
the way simon is fawning over da
i'm wondering if the rumors
of a fix
are true

don't be surprised
to see cook go next

god i hope i'm wrong

You know, it doesn't matter anymore. I'm glad Jason was shown the door, but realistically the best talent has been gone for two weeks.

I thought Syesha did well on both songs, but Archuleta will likely prevail.

So Parvati took the cash. I haven't watched it yet, but saw the headline. In a way, I'm happy for her - she really played everyone.

AI tonight, but I think it's going to be crappy anyway.

Who started this thread, anyway? [X(]

Cook rocks, he is from Oklahoma, but doesn't live here now.

I agree. David Cook has done the best job of making each tune 'his own', as Simon would state, and also has demonstrated excellent vocals from the beginning. Other than Carly, I think he's the best.

It may end up Cook vs. Archuleta in the end. Tonight will be pivotal, maybe

Cook excelled tonight. At this point, I don't see how he can lose but the majority of America could disagree.

True, he was at the top of his game once again. Like Simon once stated - the outcome would be different if it weren't a popularity contest.

From what I have heard about the 2nd and 3rd place guys that were actually good, it's not that bad to not win the idol. Look at Chris Daughtry vs. Whathisname with the gray hair. I don't even remember his name and haven't seen anything or heard anything about him. Daughtry is everywhere, and even got Slash to play on his first album.

yep, i agree

the show may be a popularity contest
but when it comes to
music actually being played

the talent wins out
and gets air time
long after the "winner" is
forgotten

Eric was a bonehead, especially after watching Ozzy THEN Jason THEN James being chopped.

I'm just glad Natalie didn't go any further. She was such a hag since the merge, and I just wanted to push her over in the sand [:'(]

Cirie had been good at manipulating others, for sure. She could have pulled it out at the end I guess.

Who is leaving AI tonight? Hmm...

I was wrong, David Cook is from MO, but now lives in Tulsa. Of course now I'm sure he will be moving. His album should rock!
