yeah american chocolate sucks now. swiss/german or UK chocolate is by far better.
over at mijers they had the most wonderfull candy bar made in Australia it was called Violet Crumble (wiered name) but it was a crumbly honey flavored sweet wafer (like merang) covered in a thin layer of smooth rich chocolate. i loved it and deemed it my all time favorite candy, untill, they pulled it off the shelves! WHY?????
my question, how come mexican soda doesnt make you sick? is it distillated water?

As for Mexican water being used in their cokes, I think that Mexican Cokes have to follow the very same strict FDA cleanliness laws. Otehrwise, the whole batch would be rejected and returned to Mexico. So, what does come to teh US, those are the good batches. And yes, they taste absolutely fabulous.

See, that is teh poblem there, it is ot the sugar in Iraqi sodas that made it bad, it is the water they used. If they would have treated the water more before including it in the soda, I gauranty you would have had a way better expeience.

Well, I went to a restaurant today that USED to carry Dublin Dr Pepper (Had the real sugar...yummy!)
When I got there, they didnt have any. I was so upset tat I almost called my friend to dis him for advising this place to me.
I talked to teh store manager andasked him why they quit carrying it. He said it was a distribution dispute and they didnt want to get sued.
I just cannot believe how hard teh corn syrup guys are working to keep real sugar sodas out of America. I'm sad now

I too never heard of Horitios. If that has real cane sugar in it, I will try to hunt that down in the import section of my grocery store.

Jarritos? Not sure if that is what is being talked about, but it's a Mexican beverage made with real sugar... not corn syrup. Carbonated water, sugar, citric acid, natural flavors, coloring and sodium benzoate (preservative) is all that's in them. Good stuff, just too sweet for me.

Just had another Mexican Coke! Nothing like the real thing. It is sad that in order to get the real coke, the bottle has to say "Hecho en Mexico" (For all you gringos, that is pronounced "EH-cho en ME-hee-ko" capital letters signifying the harder pronounced syllables)

Then this is what I say, take the stupid corn out of our sodas, feed the barnyard animals, and kill two birds with one stone:
1) We get back our good tasting sodas!
2) To top it all, I can buy a ribeye much cheaper too!

I miss the great taste sodas used to have. Sodas with corn syrup are bland.
When I found Mexican Cokes with real cane sugar, I was nothing short but thrilled! I jjust wish everyone could have that great taste back, regardless of the sodas sold today: Pepsi or Coke.

***Gears start starting to creak in brain***
Dont tempt me! I sure would hat to see border customs stop the flow of Mexican Cokes to where I'm at just because they are being sold so cheaply! (I would drop into a serious depression if I am deprived of my Mexican Cokes)
