Cool! But $73? Youch. I might stick with planning ahead for that much.

I assume with that USB 2.0, you could plug in a flash drive and copy movie files directly to ...what....itunes? The OS somehow?

What kind of program did you end up getting to rip DVDs?!
I tried playing with a free one (Handbrake), but blew a bunch of time getting choppy ripped movies. I googled and did troubleshooting, evidently it was something with the framerates I was using, but I never got it right in spite of it all (tried the suggestions that google found for me, but to no avail).

Got frustrated, so I just bought one that works perfectly w/out mucking around:

For $35, it was worth it to me.

What happened to your phone?!
The volume stopped working so i took a screwdriver to it and the volume button fell off..

Then, the side of the phone started digging into my pocket so i pulled the metal strip off with pliers..

Time for a new phone?!

Does it work the same way in UK as in US.. that you sign up for a long term plan and you get a phone for a big discount? Or the phone purchase is separate from the plan?

Okay, so in UK, it is similar to how it works in US..

In other part of the world, often time the phone is bought separately...

My brother saw it. Said it was ok. A lot of *** moments - I guess it was entertaining enough, so that's a plus. He didn't sound blown away or anything though.

I have watched quite a few movies in the theater recently with my wife..

King's Speech
Unknown
No String Attached
Limitless
Adjustment Bureau

I think movies are quite expensive nowadays.. [:@]

That annoys me about the iPad (and apple in general). No ''general'' USB support. I've ripped several DVDs we own, but can't store them all on our iPad (it's the smaller one). Would be nice to load some others on a USB flash drive and just copy them to the iPad as desired (like, if we're on vacation), but you can't do that - at least, not easily that I know of.

So you're stuck with using iTunes to synch it, to get that DVD file over. Makes me plan ahead more for trips. [&:]

Other than that, it's a pretty cool device.
Which is why I will b getting a Droid based tablet when I'm in the market for one.

What size/kind of motors are those? All I see is "Poison". 540s? Brushed?
