Was at southern California but spent a lot of time on the airplanes + airports.. a lot of delay this weekend from Southwest airlines.. cause they got in trouble w/ FAA for inspection and stuff..

I did not got home until like 3AM.. yikes.. !!

stadium blitzer and bearings on it's way to me!

my wife has been driving me crazy with house projects. meanwhile i have a pile of parts ready for a modernized rc10 racer and i had the itch for a new kit.

as i like the vintage stuff and the price was right i ordered. i may or may not race it in this years vonats. i already have an awesome restored/modded rc10t for that, but who knows i may run it.

The Stadium Blitzer is a re-re already.. to be honest with you, I was kind of surprised to see that being re-re-ed!

I was surprized the Avante got a Re-release, although its way too overpriced for me. $450++
Most people turn them into shelf queens anyhow and never hardly run them.[&:]
Answer this why buy something that I may not ever use. That's why I was looking at a Boomerang and Hotshot.
You can actually buy 2 Hotshot's for the price of it, one runner and one New In Box.[:-]
Another thing, something like the Avante will be hard to get parts for because the 1988 owners want them parts BAD...
It will be easier to get parts for a hotshot over that car. Can you see the nastaligic side of me awakening....

Since it is re-released.. there will be no problem getting parts now..

Not surprised to see Avante got re-released as it has some sort of historical significance..

I am all for re-re.. it is all good.. !!

my guess is a blitzer beetle isn't far behind. i never cared for the styrene hard bodies, but i may put a parma baja beetle body on it.

the worst kit tamiya ever released.

i remember 1988 very well. i had just gotten an optima mid and my buddy got an avante. he talked so much trash, only to have my silver can powered mid destroy him.
the avante was easy on the eyes but an awful performer.

Probably not. Ive only seen one Mini E Revo while Im here. Apparently my RA has seen several people walking around with RC's before.
