RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
I know that many of us have had a TEU-101 ESC (or more!) in the collection.. but I bet not many have actually seen the box.. !! [X(]
(since we typically don't buy them, we only get those that came w/ the kits, which, do not come in the boxes..)
So just FYI.. ha!

Nice! I didn't even know that the 101 HAD a box... I guess I just figured they shipped it in a bag like the kits, maybe with a cardboard hanging tab.

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
Such a ripoff for an esc with no bec and a high turn limit...

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
i just found a set of alloys i really like the look of.
they are 15" and the lad only wants £120 for them - cost £400 a set new - plus they have tyres.
they look really good on 106's.
Three of them are in really good condition and one is curbed, do you guys think this is still a good buy ?

as long as you can buy a replacment for that broken one it sounds like a good deal, even if that holds air can you imagine how many wheel weights it would take to balance that, maybe all the way around each side would get it close

Been working on the E-savage here and there lately. Put on a few items, upgraded steering mod, etc. Steering mod includes what you see plus 5 bearings (there are none stock), so it's way smoother now. Very slick.
Here's how it looks now.
Also a pic of the steering mod.

Eman, looking good!
What's the steering mod?! Changing out the bushings to ballbearings? Or there's something else?!
When are we expecting to see some action on that thing?!

Action? Action?? My freakin' motor has been on back order for months now. Should get it soon though. Still waiting on the darn LiPos to come in stock too. *sigh*
Also, finally got all the screws switched over to hex, rebuilt both trannies (shimmed them to remove slop), but in sears white auto grease in there. Installed 2 center driveshaft dogbones instead of stock plastic thingies. Putting on a better quality slipper clutch tonight most likely.
Lots going on....I should update here w/more pics.
