Anyone tried it? I am hooked! Not that I wasn't before today (usually drink about 10-12 a day). The throwback stuff is made with SUGAR!!!! No riff raff....tastes like when I was a kid again! So who else stocked up?

Have you ever heard of "Mountain Dew Mouth"? Mountain Dew is the most acidic beverage in North America...It'll eat holes straight through your teeth man. If I were you, I'd kick that habit.

Where did you get that? All pop has approximately the same pH. Even milk is slightly acidic! It's the sugar that eats your teeth, not the acidic properties.

Hey man....I brush and floss daily and see the dentist regularly...been drinkin it since I was 12. Nothing abnormal here. Keep a tooth brush in my backpack, one in my truck, on the boat....lol. See where I am going with this? Simply brush your teeth and you can eat/drink what you want.

No I have never heard of "Mountain Dew Mouth"....sounds fun though.

I have goten some. I knew something was diffrent from the first sip, had a weird taste to it, ive gotten used to it though and now I love it. I remember that thread saying there sould be real sugar in soda instead of the syrup. I guess they listened

That would apply to any soda, diet or otherwise. If all you drank was pop, where would your body get the water it needs? There's not enough in pop.

Indeed. My dentist told me Dew is not a "sipping" pop. Do not sip away at it all day (like I do) and should I choose to be a sipper then make sure to drink water to wash my teeth with during the sipping...lol. I do it! It works.

Here in Hawaii, a childhood rumor is that Mountain Dew makes your wee wee smaller. Any truth to that? [X(]

All the soda companies should bring back sugar in soda. But they should produce it continuously, even if only in low volume.

i dont like today's soda, but i like the throwback stuff.

DEW and pepsi have a cleaner taste and a crisp finish, it actually quenches your thirst! its because its real sugar not high fructose corn crap.

go back to real sugar folks, its not that much more than HFCS.

the US is the only one putting HFCS in everything, and that stuff makes your liver work hard and it puts fat into the bloodstream. i almost never drink American soda anymore.

You've got issues if you're drinking more than a couple of cans of anything per day. I just read through Mountain Dew ingredients and sounds like you're addicted to the caffeine. Brushing your teeth may protect those but the caffeine and all the chemicals in it are sure to mess you up eventually.

Sometimes it's nice being from a health conscience country

i dont drink soda when im thirsty, i treat it as a treat, almost like ice cream, during the day i drink water, hot tea, cold tea, life water (flavored drink with 15G sugar (not hfcs) and vitamins) citrus juice. and do not and will not drink energy drinks.

figure you could have a bag of gummies or two candy bars for the sugar in one can of soda, it isnt worth it to me.
but every once in a while a soda is nice.
