RE: Jailbreaking
Try xbox360s... still considered fairly easy, but listen to this for a procedure...
Open Xbox, remove Sata cable, install in your PC a compatible sata IO card, connect the card to the xbox drive with a sata cable, boot from a SLAX (UNIX) CD, which changes the mode of the drive to 'PC' mode. Load the firmware, apply it, PRAY that there isn't a power cut while you're doing it, reboot, change back to mode 1, reassemble.
PSPs are easy, but you sacrifice too much in terms of 'normal' functionality when you crack them. Anyway, hate to say it but PSPs are crap. They're crap as portable multimedia devices, and they are little better than average as a hand held games system, the DS surpasses it in every conceivable way, which is sad, because I'm really a Sony guy, I don't like Nintendo, but the DS is pure genius. Grand Theft Auto on DS is one of the best games I've ever played on any system ever. Witha DS and an iPod gen2 touch, you have the best MM device and the best handheld game system. Sure it's 2 devices, but they weigh about the same as one PSP, and take up very little extra space.
Tell me more about jailbreaking iPod Gen2 Touch please guys....

Feo must be a n00b. Custom firmware is super easy to install on a PSP. It only took me 5 minutes for the actual hacking.

And I hate to admit it, but I agree with Foxy on the whole PSP thing...

I found the hardest part about hacking the xbox was opening the damn thing. Took me forever to develop a technique to open the tabs on the back.

My firmware version was 3.51 and at the time, the only way to hack above 3.5 was to use a pandoras battery. Gosh.
