RE: Cat Sticks Out Tongue
It's funny; animals are alot smarter than we think them to be. For example, the can has actually conditioned me to feed it when he tips his food bowl. Real bad habit for a cat in my opinion, but as soon as I hear the food bowl clattering, I go and fill it...
...Wait a minute! knowing this now, the next time he tips his food bolw, I'll ignore it and see how long this behaviour lasts!

They know how to make you do things for them and get what they want.
While they don't "think" as such, they know the routine and which action gets a reaction.
Especially when it comes to food.
Our dog gets a raw meat bone on wednesdays and saturdays.
Any other day of the week he'll go straight to bed after the morning walk.
Wednesday or saturday he goes straight to the freezer and starts drooling.
He knows when we're going out and he's not coming, long before we even start showering and getting ready.
In the evening, when either of us go and get something out of the fridge, he'll wait until he hears us go either outside, to the computer or to the lounge room before he gets up and comes over to see what we're eating.
One day I came home late from work and my girlfriend was going out that evening, so I grabbed a burger on the way.
Came home, fed and walked the dog, had a shower and went and surfed the net for a while.
When I went out to the kitchen the dog was asleep in his spot where he usually sits when we cook dinner, waiting for me to start cooking.
He'd been there for a good hour and a half probably, waiting for me and eventually fell asleep.
Pets are great and they make you laugh every day.

As cute and diminutive as they might look, they are very much absolute dogs in their demeanor and all; jumping up to lick your face, barking at the slightest percieved sounds, chasing their tails, and all other doggish behaviors.
These guys stick out their tongues too, but only after chasing something down and they are all hot or whatever.

RE: Cat Sticks Out Tongue
I prefer cats. My mom spent around $1000 on a pug. I have to admit thats he is one of the cuter looking pugs. But he smells like ***** in a box. Chewed my moms laptop cord, which cost just under $100 to be replaced. And poops all over the house.I love my cat, Milo, way more. He's a big cat, has killed birds, crows, squirrels, and probably any other small mammal. But hes super cute, has a higher pitched meow, and never uses nails. Also he gets in lots of cat fights.

my dog is clever too. he knows not to
do his buiseness in the house and howls
at the back door, or if its just the flyscreen he
opens it and lets himself out. i like how they have there
own personalities. my dog does things i havnt seen
before. (i have a tiny lil jack russel x aswel, rose)
he gets her toy, and head buts her with it in his
mouth, and boxes her with his paws. hes sooo cheeky.
i gave him a kennel that the other dog has now layed
claim too. whenever we let him out the back we here
rose barking at him coz hes tryin to get in there. when she doesnt
let him in he just drags her and her blankets around the yard.
and theres nothin she can do about it.
all day thay have the yard to themselves, getting up to mischief.
sometimes its good to just sit out there with a six pack and
spend time with them.
my dad used to have a black labrador when he was in the army
called major. very intelligent, highly disciplined dog. he took
him down to the shops came home and forgot about him for
a couple of hours. when he eventually got back to the shop
major was lying down in the same spot waiting. he was never
kept on a lead. he would have waited there till he starved.
a dog can go off and die of a broken heart if his owner dies. thats true.
sad. dog is mans best friend. imo

RE: Cat Sticks Out Tongue
Cool cat Savage Jim.[sm=shades_smile.gif]
My Tom does the same thing, not real often but he does stick the tongue out on occasion.
I've had cats all my life.
(I grew up in apartments and dogs were out of the question.)
My Tom's name is Angel Of Death. (What else would SLAYERDUDE name his cat?)
You should have seen the looks I got at the vet the last time I took him for shots! LOL!
The place was packed and everyone stopped in their tracks when the elderly woman behind the counter asked -
"So who do we have here?" and I answered with "The Angel Of Death."
She quickly told me where the door was. (jokingly of course)
By the time we left the vet everyone in the place had to come over and meet The Angel Of Death...
He was the hit of the party.
I wonder what the old lady filling out the reminder cards for shots thinks when she has to type in my cat's name???
Here's a pic of him on new years at about 11:00 PM...he didn't make it til midnight.
He's always gotta be checkin out what everyone is doing, he's a people person.
In fact I'm convinced that he thinks he is a person.
This cat will eat anything but noodles and chocolate.
I like spicy food and he eats hot wings and all kinds of spicy stuff.
He loves oranges, OJ, green beans, you name it he eats it.
The GF drinks that Starbucks frappacino stuff and he hears the top "pop" open and comes runnin.
Vampire bat kitty.
Showin off all the Slayer shows he's been to.
AOD playing King Kong with my Havoc Heli.
(This vid is old, I got to get a new one on tape, he's got a new thing he does with the heli and it's a riot.)

Ah almost forgot about this thread.
I did have a look for that photo fo the cat with the huge theeth, but no luck as yet.
It wasn't where I thought it would be and looking at all those old photos made me take a trip down memory lane, and then I forgot to keep looking.

RE: Cat Sticks Out Tongue
My neighbor had a Rottweiler, (no small dog). We used to run our Savages up and down the street. The rott would chase our Savages while we ran them around her in circles. Really pissed her off and we got a really good laugh from it all.
Well, one day, my frient had his dog and his Savage just sitting on the floor. The Savaeg was a sitting duck (he went in to get soem afterrun oil for it) and the rott in one massive bit grabbed a hold of the Savage with her mouth and started to shake it like a rag doll!

RE: Cat Sticks Out Tongue
My mouser got him two mice yesterday.
The G/F wakes me at 6AM so I can dispose of the first.
Then calls me home from work to dispose of the second at 10AM. LOL
I come home and she's sitting on the kitchen counter.[sm=lol.gif]
Here's a pic of the unruly beast that had her scared out of her wits.
I think it was all of an inch long.
