MY NEW BEAST (pic heavy)
<hr size="1" style="color: rgb(204, 204, 204); background-color: rgb(204, 204, 204);" /> So guys for all i talked to here a quick recap:
my 00 patrol decided to give some trouble which i hadnt the time to diagnose, for some time it was overheating and being a general pain in the ass,so it had to go.....
i got a GREAT deal on a 04 model with an asking price of 8000euros,just 80k miles on clock...WOOOOW the differnce is amazing....power is up a lot.the interior has full leather.it is in awesome mint condition and i love it.
im shocked at the performance differnce, now it makes me think my own was on the way out for a while maybe. my own had 160000miles up,went great until overheating issues and loss of a cylinder.
anway,i love this new one,its mint.......full servise history,just servised,tested.
MINT..... im well happy with the deal.
5000euros with my own patrol,i got 3000euros for my own
be warned, pic heavy....starting with my old troll.
let me all know your thoughts.
regards
dan
my old patrol which i traded,it had full leather.

jeeze fuel is expensive out there, we have those nissans out here, but almost no cars are diesel, i would expect the price to drive almost double if on gasoline.
i used to spend $23 or or about 30.36 eros for 140miles in a 8gallon tank. now its even better with my 4banger, it gets about 30mpg.

Not wanting to hijack this thread or anything dc2, but how bout some nice scenic pics of that view you have and a shot of your house. Those red bricks around your door perk my interest.
Is that a boat and a bunch of fish traps in the background there?
comerfod2....that's probably exactly why he has a land cruiser mate....he lives in Ireland....mud is everywhere..

RE: MY NEW BEAST (pic heavy)
hey guys of course i will get some pics up.
WOW this is a great machine to tow,as im in the lumbar buisness full time right now it can tow 3.5 tonnes with relative ease. you wouldnt even know the weight is behind you,i tow some crazy weight (huge logs) no problem, even towing this weight it retains similar economy to towing zero weight.
im delighted with it so far.
lunchboxer thanks.....
p.s this aint a pathfinder its a patrol. we have pathfinder here also, petrol versions are a waste of time here, too uneconomical.
tommygun,no worries as soon as i take out camera i will load some pics bud!
this thing is the closest piece of military equipment you will get. all the military dudes use these, from the peace keepers in the united nations, iceland, ireland, its used as a paramedic veichle in parts of the uk, they rule the outback in ozz.....
a good beast for sure.

RE: MY NEW BEAST (pic heavy)
well the engine ranges are so diverse from these machines that it is unbelievable.....the patrol is the biggest body type in the nissan 4x4 series.....
pics dont do them any justice.yeah the us pathfinder is same as irish one, they are narrow looking compared to patrol.
and patrol, much wider......you would need to see them in person to see the alarming size differnces...

Dude!! That's my car!!!
Shark - Patrol and Armada are completely different bro.
The Armada is shaped almost like a Pathfinder but has the bulbous or humped passenger and rear section. It's a bit bigger than the Pathfinder.
It's like this: X-Trail < X-Terra < Pathfinder < Armada < Patrol
At least out here it is...
