Here's a little engine I made recently with a rapid prototype machine that I run. Some of the steam engine fans might find it interesting.

It is pretty good 
I'm actually looking at making some investment castings for parts they don't make anymore. I have modeled a crank case backing for an
old motor that I hope to cast one day. I have also thought about making some of my own pilots, but I still have some learning to do with the 3d software.
Our machine is an Objet 330 that uses the inkjet type technology. There are a few lithography machines now, if I may ask which does yours use?
