This is a forum for anything that you find odd in your daily life
here are mine:
Where on a chicken are its nuggets?
Where on a buffalo are its wings?
Where on a fish are its fingers?
Why is abbreviated such a long word?
Why isn't Phonix spelt how it sounds?

If drinking and driving is against the law why do bars have parking lots?

Same reason Gas stations have "Conveinence" stores with plenty iced down beer, and signs "No Drinking alchoholic beverages on the premises>" Both situations helps probably helps the cops stay a bit slimmer as it all helps to keep the cops out of the doughnut shops. [>:]
True FACT: I use to own 40 acres about 90 miles north of here where I live. Good fishing pond and good deer hunting motivated me to drive up there every so often. About 70 miles north of this greater Houston area, there is a neat little stop with a nice little bar. Seemed to always be 1-3 HOUSTON Police Cars up there and on those times I checked, there were uniformed cops drinking beer and playing cards or such. This was always in the mid-day time period.
Good work if you can get it!edited: wrong word
