polorized glasses are fine, just make sure it doesn't block the readout on the radio. Personally I have perscription arnette sunglasses non polorized. Non polorized becuase in the real plane the polorization revealed the individual layers in the plexi glass of the windscreen, just not a good situation when flying, and also couldn't see the screen on my futaba radio.

I use polarised Oakley's. I only own polarised oakleys so.....

Works good for fishing and flying. I have never had a problem reading my displays unless my head is turned 90 degrees....never flew that way anyway.

Polorized Vutts. They're like $20 a pair, and look every bit as good as the $100+ Oakleys. I use them for everything- flying, boating, you name it. I'm also terrible about not losing sunglasses, so the low price is a serious boon.

Ray
Ray I've been thru all the different types of sunglasses you can think of, polarized, blue block etc. As a matter of fact just this week I again compared Zurichs to 3 very expensive polarized glasses. I finally settled on Zurichs about 10 years ago. As far as I'm concerned they are the best sunglasses I have ever used flying. Since we are looking into the sky while flying I found that they provide the best definition and best protection for our activity. Others may disagree, which is fine as I know people who don't wear any sunglasses when they fly, but for my money Zurich is the only thing I'll wear flying. If you want function buy Zurichs. They won't get many 'style' points but style isn't their purpose.

I use Modelglasses.  I love them because they are very light but offer lots of coverage area.  They come with a great case, polishing cloth and four sets of lenses for various light.
