hinge gap
I am finally close to finishing my 80" Edge 540. My question is should I seal my hinge gaps??
I am using robart pin hinges that are very rigid so I know my surfaces won't be flexing or fluttering. I was just wondering what you have done on your personal 540's. THANKS

RE: hinge gap
It's always a good idea to seal the hing gaps. I have done this mostly in the past but I will admit I've gotten lazy with all the profiles I've built lately and have just installed the control surfaces very tightly to the respective part. Since the hinge lines are all double beveled, you can achieve a very tight fit. I have never had any flutter problems so all I can say from my experience with the OMP line is it is not a critical thing. Obviously you don't want big gaps.
