Default 65" Yak

got the Yak in the bones. I also never saw the rib doubler for r3 I did make extra support with scrap 1/16 ply it looked like it needed it.

I did have some other minor problems

if you look at these ribs wrong they will break, the wings would be easyer (stronger) to build if the ribs were a bit heavier. it might add one or two oz. , or add none considering the extra glue needed to fix broken ribs.

the directions say to be carefull cutting sticks ,to use the short scraps first, but I still did not have enough 3/8 SQ. or 3/8x1/4 add these two more sticks.

Let everyone know in the begining of the directions the need lots of epoxy, cups, stirrers and micro ballons. I mixed epoxy so many times I lost count. Using 30 min. would cut down on the # of times to mix but it takes so dam long.

over all it looks good and seems light Here are the Photos

Mike, I would not change a thing. The ribs are plenty strong. I want a kit that is built to fly not built to crasg. If ribs break because someone is looking at them wrong, my advice would be "stop looking at them wrong".
