Yes-many. Especially out here where I live. That's all everyone has on them.

Hatches under the wings on most.

What size tank?

Most are the 12 oz profile by Sullivan.

Any Horizontal or Vertical Stab problems? (Thinking of using flying wires)

Haven't ever seen one with flying wires. I've tried to rip the tail feathers off mine and it won't happen.

What is the best prop? (Bme 21X8?)

Most are using 21x8 on BME

Does the Tetherlite main gear hold up ok?

Yup

What does it weigh w/the Bme 50?

11.5 Lbs.

How does it fly??

Get the BME 50 ... you won't regret it. Flys awesome.

I'm putting BME 50 on my 79" Yak too.

If you have the ARF and are putting the big gasser on it I would strongly recommend looking over the plane carefully as these were designed primarily for glow. Yes many have used gassers and very successfully but I guess as the designer I'm somewhat cautious! LOL Make sure all the glue joints between the wing tube and ribs and shear webs are plentiful. Might want to squirt some extra thick CA into these areas and hit with kicker to be sure. Also make sure the tail feathers are glued on very well. Just some extra measures to be safe as that motor is twice the power this plane needs. Oh yea, watch your speed! No full speed flybys! Remember this is a slow fun fly type of plane.

Sounds good Mike,,Yeah I think most people get in trouble by flying the airplane WAY TO FAST!!!
It doesn't take an aerodynamisis to look at the wing planform, cord etc..to figure out the airplane was not desighed to fly fast.

By the way,,off the subject, I was thinking of getting the 92' Edge Hybrid,,what is the average build time on one of those??Could I still use the BME 50 even though it is a rail mount engine?

Thanks again,,,Keith

Mack truck or is that a "Hemi"?

Keith, the 92" Hybrid is designed for the 50 cc - 60 cc engines. If you have an engine mount that will allow the BME to mount on a firewall then yes it would work. We use the DA 50 spinning a 23-8 prop and this makes a great combo. If the BME puts out the same power then you'll be very happy! Average build times are very hard to predict as there are so many types of builders. I would say you could have the basic frameup done in two weeks working typical evenings.
