Hi Mike,
I am about to order the 79" Yak and I have a few questions first, I want to use my YS 140 DZ on it it swings a 18-8W at 9400 RPM, and I will be using Hitec 5645's and 5945's for servos will this be an exellent combo for high performance 3-d flying? Also does the kit come with hardware?Last question how long will it take from the time I order with PayPal to the time it arrives at my home in Southern California? Thanks for your help..
Matt

My kit took 9 days to get to me. Too long of a wait IMO.

The Yak would be a monster with that motor. I've seen a video with the YS 140 FZ and it pulls right out of hover. You servos look fine. Your going to have a great flying plane with that setup.

We have plenty of these kits in stock, if you order today it will arrive in CA by Thursday.

Oh yea, that YS 1.40 is an amazing motor and outperforms the OS 1.60s we use a lot. Those servo choices are ideal as well. I'm using 945s myself all the way around. The kits come with main landing gear only. We are working on accessory hardware packs and will have them shortly. Since many folks prefer to choose their own hardware, we've never included it in kits. We are picky too and will only have the perfect stuff in our hardware choices. As Dion says, the kits are in stock and can be at your door in a week easy I'd think.

Actually we are putting together hardware packs very soon. We did this for the previous ARFs and only use the best stuff we can find. If you can wait a bit while you are building, we could have hardware for you. otherwise we'd be glad to suggest a setup for you and then you can just order from one of the online hobby stores.

Mike,
if you will have the hardware packages together in the next three weeks or so I will just get it from you, if you think it will be longer I would like you to recommend a good quality source.
Thanks, Matt.

The hardware packages will hopefully be ready within the next two weeks. So it should be ready in time for when you need it. If it becomes critical we'll jump in and quickly find a good quality source. [8D]

Your very welcome. The real praise will come when you fly your Yak. You ain' seen nothing yet my friend.

I've got mine ready to maiden tomorrow, however I think I'm going to wait till the weekend so I can make the entire day of it. No rushing to get it in the air, always have my trusty 80" Edge to fly.

1fish,

You are in for a real treat. You have a great engine plane combo. I have the 80" with a YS 140L on it. With the DZ You will have gobs of power. You can see video of it on the OMP site. Your plane has the same weight, so it should give you a real good idea of what to expect.

Happy flying!

Thanks, the other clip is a little longer and the plane is on the deck. I have an 18 x 8 APC. 30% Magnum heli plus fuel.

You can go to my website and see additional clips. One with a good pull out on a windy day.

Well I got it, exactly one week from ordering!! There sure are a lot of sticks in this kit!!! I was surprised though that there were no wheels or hinges for the wings/rudder/elevator but I guess no hardware means no hardware, anyway construction looks pretty straight forward, if I can I will post some of it on here. Thanks OMP for getting it to my door so fast, I would suggest double boxing the product though, the box I got the top seam and one end seam were open and though nothing was missing lots of parts could have easily fallen out...

They get to go on vacation there and I don't? Muff!

Edit: Sorry I forgot. Muff is an afrikaans word for that stuff that grows on bread if you leave it out for 4 weeks.
