My AFP suddenly stopped working unless I thouch the antanea on the radio. Does the dongle have some sort of ground problem?

Not that I know of, try taking the xtal out ... see if that does anything.

Do you have another radio to try?

The crystal was out, I stuck it back in an tryed it as well....nothing. The radio is the one I use on my foamy so I know it works....an it worked on AFP untill all of a sudded it quit.
Thats the only radio I have with that plug type though so I cant try another one.

You can look at the solder connectors on the black dongle and also the Interface. Just make sure they fully connected.

I had the same problem...very frustrating. Screwed around with a Skyport7 for days (good basic xtr) and no joy then just before throwing the towel in i tried an old 6xas and bingo....it worked. Not sure why but one worked and one did not? Now i just use my old RF controller thru the joystick port and it too works.

I don't mean to pass you off, but I just don't know the solution.

After plugging an unplugging wiggling an squiggling it started working just fine again.....solder joints seemed good so who knows.
