where are they?
The same place the YS engines are, probably. Hung up on a container ship somewhere, waiting for customs to clear it, or waiting to get into Long Beach harbor to unload.

They have been in the US for a couple weeks now. Not sure exactly at what stage they are getting to us.

As far as YS Engines goes, plan 6 months to a year ahead of time if you want one. The 1.10's sellout faster then they get here. But we have a whole bunch on order. They are due to arrive end of this month at last we heard.

Man, we were so hoping to pick them up this past weekend but they are now in Chicago. That's the last step in the shipping process so we are next but we won't have them for Toledo. My best guess is they can't sit in Chicago forever so we should be getting a notice to pick them up very quickly and will do so probably the week after Toledo.

They have cleared customs and have come in. We'll be picking them up this weekend. We will be putting them up for sale with all pics, prices and info as soon as we get them.

Finally

This is great! How many are available, and if you run out-of-stock how long will the next shipment be? Another Another few months? Also what engine would ne good? would a .46 AX be ok? I was about to go to extreme flight[X(]

There are literally hundreds of threads on engine choices for a good 40-size profile. Lots of good choices out there but to answer your question....yes, the OS 46 AX is an outstanding choice and really the benchmark others are compared to. We'll have plenty of ARFS for everyone and future orders as always depends on demand.

How about offering the Boxxer Bipe in an ARF. I know half a dozen people that would buy them immediately. C'mon guys. Get with it.
Also, I need a new horizontal stabilizer (flew mine off in a dive - probably at 100mph+). Do you guys sell them (for the Katana ARF)?

Ok, since so many folks are emailing and asking what's the deal, here is the latest and it has not changed. Accel hobbies has informed us his entire container STILL has not cleared customs. I don't know what to believe anymore. First we were told we could expect these mid Dec, then we were called and told we could come up to Chicago on Feb 20th to get them. At the last minute we were told they had not arrived yet. Prior to Toledo he asked if we could come that weekend. Obviously we could not due to Toledo. After getting back from Toledo we find out actually they had not cleared customs in Chicago. This has been going on for months now. I'm beside myself.........yep, literally sitting beside myself looking at my face asking ***![sm=confused.gif]. Bottomline is customs department can put a real hurt on the modeling business for sure! To make matters worse it's impossible to get a prediction from them. It's simply "whenever we get to it". We'll post any updates we get as soon as we can but believe me we are trying as hard as anyone. Sorry for all the delays!

I have heard the v2 term before and I think they are just using that term overseas. The GS stands for gas version or "glow" in our terms. The Katana GS that Accel and we are selling now is the second generation of the original Katana profile sold last summer. Not sure if that answers the question but that's what I know.

We do have pics of the 47" ARFs on our website. Right now it's a day by day waiting game.

Yes, it's definitley the white one halfway in the water. You have to look real close. The other pic above had a smudge on it.
