I have 2 OMP 80" profiles and both(OS 160 &ZDZ 40) have very sloppy wing dowell supports.Have one down with outer dowell out of body to reinforce.Where can I find CF outer dowels and tubes.Any alternatives? Dave "[email protected]" ps: Love the planes except for the tube support.

Are you referring to the wing tube (aluminum)? You say dowels so I'm thinking wooden anti-rotation dowels. If so that was on the very first version of the 80" Edge which had the center wing panel permanently glued into the fuselage. All the newer kits and ARFs have had a lite-ply plate glued into the fuselage to help stiffen up the tube socket in the fuse. If yours is worn, this can be an easy patch job to do. Make some lite-ply donuts about 2" in diameter or so and cut the hole in the center for a new socket (7/8" diameter). As far as carbon fiber tubes try TNT Landing gear as I think they are a good source for these.
