Default katana 46 v2 problems

I have just started building my v2 and so far am dissapointed. First, no instructions? The online manual couldn't be much vauger. Secondly, the fairing does not line up with the trailing edge. It is about 1/8 to 1/4 inch higher. The dowell dictates the position of the wing so there's only one way it can go. I wouldn't dare fly it like that. Wouldn't it act like an elevator? I guess to fix this I will have to drill out the hole that receives the dowell so the trailing edge of the wing can rotate upwards? this will change the incidence of the wing. Very frustrating!!!

Walleyevision,
The online manual is the same one that should have been in the box. Sorry your's was not in there.
Also, with the wing not lining up, could you please email pics to [email protected] and [email protected]? I would like to see the side of the fuse.
Thanks,Steve

I just put one together last week & it didn't have the manual in the box either, but obviously it was online so no big deal.

I think walleye's referring to the winglet behind the wing & on mine it was as he says about 1/8" lower than the TE of the wing, but trust me, it flies absolutely great even with the offset.

I agree, that will not affect flight performance. What part of the manual is vague Walleyvision? Can you be more specific. I wrote the manaul and thought I covered everything pretty well. The ARF is pretty simple to put together according to most folks.
