Default Antenna Length

Guys

I have a Art-Tech 2.4 GHz receiver with a cut off antenna. How long is the antenna on a 2.4GHz receiver??

Everyone wants shorter antennas but will it help if I make mine a foot longer??

Default RE: Antenna Length

From what I remember, the antenna is tuned to the rx and should stay the original length,
But on the other side of the coin, I have heard of people just putting an another antenna at what ever length and it worked.
I would call Tech support for your radio if I were you. Not get opinions on a forum.

The lengths of transmitter and receiveraerials are specially tuned (length). Unless you are an electronics boffin and can calculate / modify aerial lengths, I would not advise it.

Your normal RCare well designedso modifyingit might be "trouble trouble until trouble troubles you".

Play safe, get tech advice from your RC gear supplier or electronics repair shop.
