I think it is time for me to take the plunge in rc. I have already done the back yard bashing, still race 1/8 off- road & over the past 9 mos. been playing with hellis. It's time to spread some wings. My question is & I think I know where it will end, but I would like advice from some experienced pilots. I have no time in air with planes, I like would to start off with the apprentice because it is bigger has better equip. in it and I won't need to go and a 4 channel so soon, so also saving some money in the long run that could go towards better planes when the time comes. I already have a dx6i, so radio is not concern, but I'm a bit leary of that, or just go for the super cub? The owner of my lhs says apprentice & he will teach me how to fly but I think down the road that might b a hassle with schedules travel and so on. Any help would be very usefull, I'm going crazy trying to figure this one out. Thanks alot, jim

If price is no object, I would buy the Apprentice and a simulator program. I own several planes including those two. I wish I had bought the Apprentice earlier and bypassed some of my early planes.
